About the Proprietors
Owners: Chris and Lisa DeMars
We are new to the Bed & Breakfast business. Opening in Fall 2006. Room offerings are available on
weekends only. Chris is an electrician by trade, and Lisa is a computer specialist.
We love the peace and quiet of the Descanso area and wish to share this tranquility with others. Descanso
means place of rest and we are sure you will find Golden Eagle Guest Ranch restful for your soul.
In our newly built home, 2005, we have just two guest rooms available. Both are on the second floor of our
home. The south room is preferable because it has its own private bath. The north room has access to the
same bath from across the hall. In most cases we would offer one room or the other unless friends would like
both rooms and can share the bath.
In the not-to-distant future, we plan on extending our room offerings to private cabins.
Our current livestock on the ranch include:
11 chickens
1 horse
2 dogs
Goldfish in the pond
Wildlife includes: a large variety of songbirds and raptors, lizards, snakes, coyote, rabbits, squirrels, gophers,
and wild turkeys.
